  • BOS to London

We are looking to take our two cats and 1 dog from the USA Boston airport to the UK.
Can anyone give advice or help on this matter.
I see some posts for charter flights, we are looking at this Month November 2014 around 21st.
Can anyone tell us of your experience so we can decide, an Iceland flight seems cheapest however that means changing planes.
    Thanks in advance

    Re: BOS to London

Hello - to travel to the UK, your pets must travel as manifest cargo. This is a requirement of all commercial airlines due to the live animal import procedures when landing in the UK. A licensed agent must transport your pets from the plane to the Animal Reception Center which is where you will pick them up. Charter flights can be expensive and we have been working on plans to do shared charters, but it is difficult as each airplane is held privately and owners are cautious in granting permission for multiple pets who do not know each other to board. Just a word of caution. You will need to fly in and out of Iceland on the same airline. Changing planes is fine. Changing airlines will really complicate things. And your airline must be approved to transport pets to the UK.
