My name is Honey Sturdy. I will be travelling with my three year old cat, Carboncito, from England to Canada in March,2016.I am wanting to find out what airlines accept travel with a cat in the cabin,or if that is allowed? What type and make of pet carrier,if it should be a hard or soft pet carrier? What is the best way to send my cat from England to Canada? My cat is in very good health, and I have never done this before and seeking some advice. My cat has had all his shots, has been microchipped, and has a passport.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Travel by plane from England to Canada with 3 year old cat
Hello Honey - we understand that both Swiss Air and Air Canada both carry small dogs and cats out of the UK in the cabin. Your carrier should have a waterproof bottom, should be able to accommodate your entire cat (no heads sticking out), have secure fasteners and adequate ventilation.
