I am hoping to buy a goldendoodle puppy. We live in Italy and have not found any here so I am looking in England, Scotland, and The Netherlands. Is it true that one cannot bring a puppy into Italy even within the EU prior to age 3 months and 22 days? That will make getting a puppy almost impossible. Thanks, Sz

Re: Bringing puppy into Italy
szalotta - it is true that all puppies entering Italy must be microchipped, then vaccinated for rabies no sooner than 12 weeks of age and wait for 21 days after rabies vaccination. They must also have an EU Pet Passport. See regulations here: http://www.pettravel.com/immigration/Italy.cfm.
