You need to get the titer test done before going to Israel. 1. microchip 2. rabies vaccination 3. 30 day wait 4. titer test. It must be done in this order. You can use the titer to enter both Israel and Italy. Within 10 days of entering Italy, you will need to see a vet in Israel and have an Annex IV form completed. (the form is only good for 10 days.) And yes, the rabies vaccination will be good for both countries.

Hi, i hope somebody can help, we're trying to understand what to do but it all seems so complicated!
We will fly from the US to Israel with our cat, she has all the shots, just needs a microchip. After that we will fly from Israel to Italy, at that point our cat would have a chip and rabies shots/titer already. Will that be enough or do we need other shots/certificates??
I read here that Italy requires a rabies vaccines after the microchip and 3 months wait before entering the country, we will be in israel only for a month. How can we make this work? Can the US vaccine work even if we stay in Israel first?
