  • Frontier Airlines - Domestic Travel

I traveled with an in-cabin dog in an authorized carrier, and the flight crew treated me like I had a poisonous snake on board. They told me I might need to put the carrier in the overhead compartment!

My dog is trained for air travel and exceedingly well-behaved, so there were no behavioral issues to spur this type of response.

Just plain rude with unnecessary hassles.

I love the EU because everywhere has the same rules (except the UK and Sweden as you mentioned). We flew from NYC to Madrid direct and that worked well. We have large dogs so they fl in cargo and Iberia Airlines was the best deal for overall price. Once you're in the EU though, it's easy to move around... so no need to limit to just one country.
