Your Akita will have to fly cargo and your cat may be able to fly with you in the cabin if their size permits. Find an airline that serves the entire route as the airlines will not interline pets. Be aware of the summer heat embargo as your airline will not transport a pet in cargo off the temperature exceeds 85 degrees.

Most major airlines do allow smaller pets to travel in the cabin with you. Your pet must be well-behaved

Many flights have a pet-check option. Your pet can travel below-cabin on the same flight in which you are traveling.
