Your dog must enter the UAE as manifest cargo. Don't know if you have gone yet, but summertime is a very difficult time to travel with a Shih Tzu in the hold. Increased risk to your pet.

US to Abu Dhabi questions
Hello, all - I am considering a new job in Abu Dhabi. Though I have my hubby & son, my biggest concern is transporting our shih-tzu. Has anyone had experience on transporting a dog there from the US? The transport of our dog may be my "deal breaker". Any, any insight or assistance would be most welcome.
