Traveling with Parrotlet (pocket parrot) from San Diego to Hawaii
Hawaii has strict quarantine rules. Has anyone recently taken their pet bird there? Please let me know which carrier allowed birds and how the process of getting my little one there.

You will need 2 import permits to bring a bird to Hawaii. You can find details here: http://hdoa.hawaii.gov/ai/ldc/importing-livestock/birds-and-poultry/
