I must say this is something so special to have such a good and most appealing time period here again and again.

I brought my pitbull/mix rescue when we moved to Hawaii in 2020 (would not recommend moving during a pandemic), and she did just fine. I agree with the other commenters that acclimating your pup to the crate beforehand is essential.

Also keep in mind that the process for bringing a pet to Hawaii is more restrictive than most other places in the US. In general, you'll want to start the process 90 days in advance. There are some great resources on the process here:

Unaccompanied dogs can fly as air cargo so dealings would be with your airline's cargo department. Many airlines will require that an agent book the transport in this case. Also, if the dogs are headed for the EU or some other countries, additional requirements will apply.

Most airports prevent dogs from entering the airport or aircraft unless they are placed in a special animal section, but if you have a personal airplane, I do not think that the dogs have a problem with the flight.

Walt - acclimating your pet to its carrier is one of the most important things a pet owner can do. More information on how to do that here: https://www.pettravel.com/blog/index.php/what-you-must-do-before-traveling-with-a-pet/. There is also a lot of information about flying a pet in the cargo hold here: https://www.pettravel.com/news-airline-pet-travel.cfm. Hawaii has some strict requirements for importing a pet. You can find them here: https://www.pettravel.com/immigration/Hawaii.cfm.
