  • Are pets allowed on a cruise?

    Hello people,
I am new to this forum. I need some advice from you all.
I am going on a holiday the coming month. I will be away for almost a month as I am travelling to New York on a small ship cruise, www.blountsmallsh****ventures.com/montreal-to-new-york-with-blount-small-ship-adventures/.
I have 2 pet dogs at home, a German shepherd and a Labrador. Since there is no one else at home to take care of them while I am away, I am thinking of taking them along too.
But, I have never travelled with my pets. And since I am travelling on a cruise, I am not sure whether dogs are allowed on a cruise. Has anyone cruised with their pets?
If so, what are things to be taken care of? Should I take their food along? Or will it be available there? Or any other better options? I am looking forward to your replies.

Ethan - if you have found a commercial vessel that will accept your pets other than the Queen Mary 2, let us know.

I think that you can travel but for that you need special permission. Do let me know.
