Flying from Calgary to Europe with my dog soon, and wondering how long a layover AirCanada requires in Toronto so my dog can get a comfort stop?...I am thinking that maybe 3-4 hours layover would suffice, but really don't know...Thanks in advance.

Rosio - a lot depends on which class of service that your dog is traveling under. If it is flying in the cabin with you, then 3-4 hours should be fine. If your pup is traveling as checked baggage, then you will have to claim your pet, take it for a walk, then recheck your pet. This will incur another pet fee as the airlines will consider this another leg for your pet. In other words, if you claim your pet, then recheck it, the airlines will consider it 2 separate flights.
